Clean Agency has cultivated a strategic partnership with the Center in order to provide our clients with access to cutting edge research on emerging topics in business sustainability. The Center supports our work with supply chain assessment, carbon strategies, NGO partnerships and sustainability research.
The Center for Sustainable Cities engages in multidisciplinary research and education on the environmental, social and economic sustainability challenges facing metropolitan regions, and contributes to the development of public policy that improves the natural and human environment of cities. Established by a group of USC faculty with specializations in engineering, the natural and social sciences, urban planning, and environmental health sciences, the Center operates on the conviction that the resolution of environmental problems demands contributions from professionals trained in a variety of knowledge fields, holding diverse backgrounds, political perspectives, and environmental philosophies, who must be able to work productively with multiple stakeholder groups.
The Center conducts research in five major areas: Industrial Ecology & Business Sustainability, Public Health & Metropolitan Growth, Environmental Justice, Community Engagement, & Sustainable Livelihoods, Urban Habitat Conservation and Watershed Health, and Cities & Climate Change.
