After several years of coordinating non-profit environmental programs, Candace came to Clean for the opportunity to engage with businesses and organizations with a desire to minimize their footprint on the earth. Candace's strengths are in non-profit partnerships, sustainable strategies, and planning.
Before joining Clean, Candace was tasked with helping to launch Urban Farming's Food Chain project; an initiative to install a network of food-producing green walls in the heart of urban Los Angeles. A committed environmentalist, Candace spent the two years prior to her arrival in LA coordinating a national environmental event called the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, encouraging Canadians to clean up beaches and waterways in their communities.
An outdoor enthusiast, she has also worked as an environmental educator, developing and teaching nature education programs for children and adults. She holds a Bachelors degree in Political Studies and a Masters degree in Environment and Politics.
