Heidi Luko

Sales Account Executive

Environmentally and socially active, Heidi Luko brings a wealth of fundraising and account management experience to Clean as the firm’s new sales account executive. In 2003, Heidi was elected to the position of campaign finance representative for "Californians for Schwarzenegger" during Arnold Schwarzenegger’s historic run for Governor of the State of California. Promoted in 2004 to the Governor’s office as a constituent affairs representative, her command of state law and policy played a pivotal role in her ability to analyze incoming communication to the State Capitol.

Mid year, 2005, Heidi left her post in the political arena to take an account management position with TBWA\Chiat\Day, and later joined TBWA\Media Arts Lab where she was responsible for the management of worldwide advertising campaigns for Apple, Inc. Serving as liaison between Media Arts Lab and senior advertising managers for Apple, Heidi collaborated with creative and planning teams to develop strategy behind print, TV, outdoor, and online initiatives for iPod, Mac, and iPhone. And while being part of one of the hippest consumer products campaigns in the world certainly had its rewards, Heidi felt a need to contribute to the bigger picture, which lead to a six-month stint as a volunteer teacher at a bilingual nursery school in Vina del Mar, Chile.

While in Latin America, Heidi visited Torres del Paine National Park, where she witnessed the dramatic depletion of the glaciers and was moved by man’s negative impact on nature. Returning to the States to pursue a career in which she could help shape environmental and social policy, Heidi rejoined Governor Schwarzenegger’s California Dream Team as a fundraising consultant to generate support for a broad base of legislative initiatives affecting California.

Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Loyola Marymount University.
